Steel Curtain Football was created with one goal in mind: to give kids more opportunities to play, learn, compete, and grow through the game of flag football.



Based in Breese, Illinois, we are a community-focused youth flag football league welcoming boys and girls of all experience levels. From first-time players learning the fundamentals to experienced athletes looking to take their game to the next level, we believe there is a place on the field for every athlete.

Our mission is to provide a safe, competitive, developmental, and family-focused environment where young athletes can build confidence, develop football skills, learn teamwork, and create memories that last far beyond the final whistle.

We believe youth sports should be competitive without losing sight of what matters most: the kids. Winning is exciting, but developing strong athletes, good teammates, confident leaders, and respectful competitors is the bigger victory.

• Creating opportunities for athletes ages 4–17
• Growing both Co-Ed and Girls Flag Football
• Teaching proper fundamentals and football knowledge
• Promoting sportsmanship, respect, teamwork, and accountability
• Providing opportunities for athletes to continue developing toward regional, tournament, and high school flag football
• Creating a positive game-day experience for players, coaches, officials, families, and fans
